FB Ooo #2: Bike tour

We will cycle from Amsterdam Oud-West to Velsen-Zuid through the Spaarnwoude recreational park, a landscape developed in the 1960s on top of several former landfill sites. These man-made hills are now used for downhill mountain biking trails and an indoor ski centre. Together, we will navigate this evolving landscape, stopping along the way at several public artworks where we can rest, relax, and learn more about them. As the weather will be warm, we’ll stop to swim on the way back.
The tour is hosted by Glenn Ryszko who will share his interest in mountain biking along the way.
The total bike ride will be around 40 kilometres. Bring water, suitable clothing, sunscreen, and swimwear (if you feel like swimming). Bring something small to share for a picnic-style lunch.
There’s 12 spots available for the tour.
Attendance is free of charge.
